This course covers structure, reactivity and synthesis of hydrocarbons - alkanes, alkenes, and alkynes. The concepts of aromaticity and free radical reactivity are explored. It includes spectroscopic identification of organic compounds. This course satisfies a Natural Science curriculum laboratory science requirement.
