English 101 is designed to improve students' abilities in research, information literacy awareness, written and oral communication, and argument. It offers the foundations for college-level discourse. Prerequisite: Placed into ENG 101 based on current placement standards, approval by School Chair or successful completion of ENG 100- College Composition. 3 cr. 3 Lec.
