World Affairs
The course is an introduction to modern world affairs with emphasis on issues and problems of the post-World War II period. Attention is focused on problems and prospects of developing regions of the world such as in Asia, Africa, and Latin America; tension areas and security issues; political economy; human rights; relationships among leading nations of the world; and a regional case study. Prerequisite: CLS 099 or College Placement Reading Test at 253 or above, and Pre/Corequisite ENG 100- College Composition or College Placement at ENG 101- Research and Composition. 3 cr. 3 Lec.
