Intro Westrn Political Thought

POL 127 is an overview of the major themes of Western political thought, from ancient and medieval through contemporary, with added emphasis upon equality, diversity, civic participation and justice. Other themes include, but are not limited to, liberty, citizen obligation, freedom, the State, the Good, power, human nature, economy, forms of logic (teleological, dialectical, inductive, deductive) and history.
