Prerequisite: ENGL 101. A survey of representativecosmogonies, major deities, and hero tales: GraecoRoman,Teutonic, Middle Eastern, North and SouthAmerican, and Asiatic. The course considers thedescriptive tales and the polytheistic concepts of atleast one representative culture from each major area.NOTE: This course may be used as an English or LiberalArts elective but cannot be taken in lieu of requiredliterature courses.
