Students attend two weekly lecturesdealing with how telecommunications equipmentworks, with emphasis on the proper operations ofvideo and audio devices. One two-hour lab per weekprovides the opportunity to practice the techniquesexplained in lectures. The actual operation of audioand video production equipment begins the first weekof class. Material discussed is divided equally betweenaudio and video topics.
