As we continue working toward implementation of the 2026 adopted transfer policies, we will be hosting a series of office hours throughout the fall term to provide guidance, answer questions, discuss implementation challenges, and share updates.

Office hours will be offered on varying dates and times in 30-minute blocks to provide flexibility for participants across campuses.

These sessions are an opportunity to connect directly with OTA staff to seek clarification on transfer policy requirements, implementation timelines, MTP-related processes, and local operational considerations.

We encourage any transfer-invovled faculty, campus governance leaders, campus transfer professionals, registrars, admissions staff, academic affairs personnel, and other stakeholders involved in implementation efforts to attend as needed throughout the semester.

Starting in early Fall 2025, SUNY will ask campuses to include expanded transfer path information in their catalogs and across campus websites to help make SUNY Transfer Paths more visible and accessible.

To support this effort, we are introducing a new training session—scheduled for August 18, 2025—that will outline expectations and offer practical guidance and examples.

We encourage anyone involved in managing materials published in campus admissions, transfer advising, or your campus catalog to attend or view the recording of this session. Additional information, including a guidance memo, will be shared with campuses in early September.

This training will provide an early look at the requirements and highlight best practices for implementation.

We wanted to take a moment to express our sincere appreciation to all the campuses that have embraced the new Transfer Path tools and started updating their transfer path data and core course listings.

Since the system went live across all campuses just four months ago, we’ve seen an incredible amount of activity—over 250 core course updates, edits, and additions. That’s more engagement than we’ve seen in the past four years combined!

It’s exciting to witness this level of collaboration and commitment to keeping the SUNY Transfer Paths accurate and up to date. Thank you for your continued support and dedication!

Making Transfer Path Updates Easier

Every campus now has quick and easy access to update records and refresh core course listings for their Transfer Paths—just log in and use the simple tool provided.

If you’re involved in managing Transfer Paths or curriculum at your campus, we’d love to support you. Feel free to reach out for more info, join one of our training sessions, or sign up for an editor account if you’re the designated manager.

Updating and adding paths is straightforward: log in, enter your course details, and hit submit! Each submission is reviewed for accuracy and consistency, so you can be confident that your updates reflect your campus’s intentions.
