Lecture/laboratory course designed for biology majors and premedical students. Emphasis is on the basic anatomical patterns of vertebrae structure. Morphogenesis and structure function relationships are discussed in terms of adaptive significance. Laboratory includes dissections of aquatic and terrestial vertebraes. Offered every year.
