Anatomy and Physiology I with Lab

In one semester of this two-semester sequence, students are typically introduced to the basic organization of the human body, basic biochemistry involved in physiological interactions, basics of tissue organization and histology. In addition, the course surveys the integumentary, skeletal, muscular and nervous systems of the human body. In the other semester of the two-semester sequence, student continue to study the structure and function of the human body to typically cover the additional body systems: cardiovascular, endocrine, immune, digestive, urinary, and reproductive. Additional Information: Specific topics could be covered in either semester as long as all are treated within the two-semester sequence. If a prospective transfer student has completed only one semester of Anatomy and Physiology I and II, biology faculty at the respective campus will evaluate the syllabus of the completed course. Students must complete both semesters at the same campus to be guaranteed transfer.
