A survey of the basic principles of economics, with application to contemporary issues. Operation of markets, determination of national income and its measurements, the role of financial markets, monetary and fiscal policies, and international trade are to be considered, as well as their impact upon the economy, individuals, and businesses. Business majors should take ECO 207 - ECO 208.
