MATH 231 | Calculus I (C)
A course in plane analytic geometry, functions, limits, continuity, differentiation and antidifferentiation of algebraic, trigonometric and exponential functions of a single variable with applications. An introduction to definite integrals is included. A graphing calculator as well as a computer algebra system (MAPLE) may be used. Prerequisite: Four units of high school regents mathematics including pre-calculus, MATH131 ("C" or better), or by permission of the Mathematics Department.
