A two-semester sequence for elementary education majors with a mathematics concentration, designed to provide an understanding of the mathematical ideas presented in elementary school. Coursework will focus on topics from the five NCTM and NYS content strands: Number sense and operations, Algebra, Geometry, Measurement, and Statistics and Probability.
