Physical Geology
Geologic processes on and beneath the earth's crust. Topics include minerals and rocks, igneous processes, landscape development, earthquakes, plate tectonics, oceanography and map interpretation. This course is designed for science majors. Lecture/laboratory/field work. Writing in content area. Prerequisites: Successful completion of MATH 1215 or higher. Eligible to take ENGL 1010. ?C" or higher in college Earth Science or ?C" or higher in any college lab science course. Lab fee. (Fall)
