The purpose of this course is to develop computer concepts and applications as tools for critical thinking and problem solving. The course includes hardware and software fundamentals, hands-on" experience with selected computer software materials, and a presentation of some of the issues associated with computer technology. Assigned projects illustrate major computer tools such as word processors, spreadsheets, and databases.
