Problem Solving with Computers
The purpose of this course is to develop computer concepts and applications as tools for critical thinking and problem solving. The course includes hardware and software fundamentals, hands-on" experience with selected computer software materials, and a presentation of some of the issues associated with computer technology. Assigned projects illustrate major computer tools such as word processors, spreadsheets, and databases. Not open to students with more than 6 credit hours of previous college-level computer science course work. "
