BIO 105
Environmental Biology
This introductory course investigates biological and ecological processes and principles. Topics include energy flow, community and population dynamics, air and water quality issues, and the human impact on natural resources. This course incorporates discussion and analysis of current environmental issues on local, regional, and global scales. BIO 105 is not open to students who have completed BIO 112, 132, or 201. Not recommended for students enrolled in REA 099, MTH 090, MTH 095, MTH 096, or MTH 097. Prerequisites: ENG 100 or equivalent. 3 cr. 3 Lec.
