Introduction to Environmental Science
Environmental science is the study of natural ecosystems, human impacts on the environment, and sustainable management of the Earth's resources. It involves the interactions between the living and non-living components of the ecosystem. Processes of the physical and biological environment are used as a basis for consideration of current environmental issues. The course provides an introduction to ecological concepts; the influence of chemical, geological, atmospheric, physical and anthropogenic factors on living systems will be considered.
