Theatre History I
Content and approach examine primary aspects of theatrical performance from the time of the ancient Greeks through the 19th century. Traces the development of theatre architecture, theatrical design concepts, theatre technology, acting styles and playwriting. Includes discussion of theatre traditions of non-Western cultures when possible and/or appropriate.
