Adolescent Psychology

The developmental psychology for adolescent education should span from age 12 or 13 until early adulthood (18-20). The most common reason that Adolescent Psychology courses are not currently accepted in transfer is the age span. A number of courses attempt to treat the entire childhood to young adulthood years in a single one semester course. Even a relatively cursory understanding of the psychological challenges of this age span with regard to learning requires its own full semester course.
